Last Hair Cut

Last Hair Cut Before It All Goes!

My hair was driving my crazzzy, and I know I'm going to lose it soon so we decided on Saturday morning to give me a trim so I could deal with it until I no longer have it anymore
My granddaughter who is 7 (Katelyn) is taking the pictures.

Here's hopping that when it does come back that it will have some curl and not so white.

First Evening Home

That evening my mom and my sister Diane came out for a short visit to make sure that I really was doing well that night.
Then came my Family to check on me, so Kimberly decided to have a BBQ knowing that they were all coming over after work and would be hungry, It was very nice spending sometime with my family
Again Thank You!

Missing from the picture. . . Dan & Belma (Dan was sick)

First Day of Chemo

June 25, 2010
6 months before Christmas and here I am on may way to my first round of Chemo. I was to arrive at 8:00 am for a 4 hour treatment

Here I am not to happy to be here, but I also know it's where I needed to be, but just scared of the unknowing.

My first two visitor's my son's Dan & Ken.
I really have great kids.

Then came my sister Diane who spent about 2 hours with me making sure that everything was going smooth

my daughter Kristina came, even though she had a lot going on with her work, she spent her lunch hour with me.

my WONDERFUL husband Royce

After lunch everyone had left me except my older daughter Kimberly, at that point I started to feel really sick. They say it could have been that fish and chips I had for lunch. And maybe it was but it was delicious, but it didn't agree with the Chemo so next thing I knew they were drugging me up and I don't remember much after that. But Kimberly continued taking pictures of me.

Here I am minutes after receiving happy medication

and about 10 more minutes later, I was hitting some zzzzzzzz's

Our day turned into a 7 hour ordeal at the clinic, so I was pretty tired when I did get home.

Again thank you to all my family that came and saw me, 3 weeks is just around the corner.
